The Columbia Club of the Netherlands, in cooperation with the Harvard, MIT, Ox-Cam, McGill and Fulbright clubs, welcomes you to watch the Prinsengrachtconcert 2018 live and close-up, from a boat! You can find more information on this beloved Amsterdam tradition here:

The format will be the same as last year for those who have previously attended.

When: 18 August (Saturday), 19:00
Where: Prinsengracht, in front of the Pulitzer Hotel (exact location of the boat to be shared on the day of the event)
What: Dinner and a concert aboard a sloep
Who: Columbia, MIT, Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, Fulbright and McGill alumni, among others. Limited seats are available! Each invitee may bring one guest.
Costs: 60 euros per person
Signup: Please send an email to [email protected] to indicate your interest. In the email, please include your name, university affiliation, school and graduation year, and the name of a guest if applicable. We will respond to all confirmed attendees in due time. Seats are limited
Special Notes:
- The boat will be placed in the concert area the morning of the event. All confirmed attendees will receive an email in the afternoon of the event indicating the boat’s position and a phone number to contact in case you have difficulties locating the boat.
- The dinner will be a light buffet with several options. There will be vegetarian options available. Please feel free to bring a dish of your choice if you have special requirements, or simply would like to share.
- This event is not appropriate for children below the age of 18 or those who are mobility impaired (because accessing the boat involves stepping over multiple boats of uneven heights and can be slightly dangerous). The clubs accept no responsibility for liabilities or damages.
- Of course, you are more than welcome to enjoy the concert from the shoreline (i.e. not take part in the Columbia event) if you fit into the above categories!
